Up to 3,300 pensioners in the South East Cornwall will miss out on Cold Weather Payments despite recent freezing conditions, according to a Liberal Democrat analysis of Government figures.

Karen Gillard, the Prospective MP for South East Cornwall, has today called for action to tackle the 8,000 homes standing empty across Cornwall-with over 1100 in the Caradon area alone.
